An art-tastic scholarship opportunity
The Bourne-Wareham Art Association will host its annual Art Achievement Award, offering financial support to local high school seniors planning careers in the visual arts
Student portfolio presentations will take place at noon Saturday, April 18, at the Wareham Free Library 59 Marion Road.
The award will gift t $500 to the selected winner or winners. Funds will be distributed after recipients submit proof of a passing grade for their first semester of college-level coursework to the association.
The deadline to submit application forms is April 10. Parents, teachers and school counselors are welcome to attend the student presentations.
