E. Michael Suominen, Jr., 82

WAREHAM – E. Michael Suominen, Jr., 82, of Wareham passed away on May 3, 2026, at Tremont Healthcare Center, Wareham. He was the son of the late Edward M. and Leona (Shurteff) Suominen.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all his life. He graduated from Wareham High School. 

Mr. Suominen worked for Ocean Spray Cranberry Company for several years before retiring. 

He enjoyed spending time on the water and was a member of Beverly Yacht Club in Marion and the Rowing Club in New Bedford.

Survivors include his nephew, Robert Barry.  He was predeceased by his sister, Rebecca Suominen.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
