James R Billotte, 1953-2026

Jimmy grew up in Dedham, MA, and spent summers in Parkwood Beach, Wareham.

He loved the salt water, digging clams, fishing, swimming, beach parties. Later he was able to live at the beach cottage full time, and spending every weekend on his sailboat, Oz. His joy was to relax at the mooring or when sailing on buzzards bay. He loved good food and enjoyed cooking for others, gathering with friends to share food and laughter. His other skill set was mechanical: problem solving and repairing engines for large trucks, then later diesel engines on boats. Working at the boat yard joined both his passions for problem solving and being near the salt water.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen (Murphy) Billotte, and his sisters Jeanne Perry and Maureen Ferguson. Parkwood Beach residents were his extended family for 60 years. He was able to remain in his home and gently transitioned to his next chapter on 9/25.

We will all miss his smile, laughter, excellent cooking and dancing with him. Peace on this continued journey!
