Peep this Peep contest
Peep it easy and compete for a prize.
The Wareham Free Library’s annual Peeps Diorama Contest returns starting Monday, March 16 and invites residents of all ages to create a one-of-a-kind scene starring Peeps. Past entires saw scenes around town displayed in marshmallow form and Peep alien abductions as the possibilties are endless.
Participants are asked to design an original diorama, roughly shoebox-sized, using Peeps as the main characters. Entries may be dropped off beginning March 16 during regular library hours and will be accepted throughout the display period, even after voting has begun.
Public voting will take place Thursday, March 19 through Wednesday, April 1. Votes will be counted Thursday, April 2.
Prizes will be awarded in four categories: adult diorama, family/group diorama, kids diorama (under 13) and the PEEP-les Choice Award.
Community members are encouraged to take part or stop by to cast a vote.
