Successful scholars: Elks honor students of the year

The Wareham-New Bedford Elks #73 held their annual Student of the Year dinner Wednesday, May 14 to celebrate the accomplishments of area students.
Parents and school officials alike showed support for four schools. Upper Cape Technical High School, Old Colony High School, Old Rochester Regional High School and Wareham High School.
Senator Kelly Dooner presented the citations for the awarded students from the Senate along with Elks citations and a check from the lodge for $500.
The awards were given to Mallory Henesey from Old Rochester Regional, Sean Reilly from Old Colony, Mary Jane Alford from Wareham and from Shaun Miranda from Upper Cape.
