Take a Tuesday for Tweedy (and Barnes) trail day

The Wareham Land Trust will be hosting a Tuesday Trail Day at the Tweedy and Barns Conservation Area on Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon. Visitors can register to perform trail maintenance work and add supports to bog boards.

Tools will be available at the preserve. The trust asks people to bring their own work gloves. Bring water, sun screen, bug spray and proper work wear.

Parking is available off the pavement on Blackmore Pond Road under a quarter mile from County Road. Take Main St. to Fearing Hill Road, and then turn onto Blackmore Pond Road to reach the parking area.
