Trek through Minot Forest Sept. 9

The Wareham Land Trust will host a walk through the Minot Forest on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Volunteer Tom Kinsky will lead the two-mile walk through the trails. The walk will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

There will be uneven terrain and steep inclines, but the group will walk at a moderate pace and stop for rest throughout the walk.

Organizers recommend bringing water, bug spray, sun screen and appropriate clothing for the weather.

There is parking at 40 Indian Neck Road.

The event will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
