Cristian Hagopian, 23
WAREHAM – Cristian Hagopian, 23, of Wareham, passed away on August 17, 2026, at Tobey Hospital. He was the son of Kristin (Monteiro) Hagopian and Richard Hagopian, Jr.
He was born in New Bedford and lived in Wareham all his life.
He attended Wareham High School and Map Academy Charter School in Plymouth.
Cristian worked as a Mechanic for Colonial Ford in Plymouth for the last year. Previously he worked for Jannell Ford and Wareham Ford.
He enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycle and cars, riding his skateboard and bicycle. He also enjoyed hanging with his friends, traveling and listening to music.
Cristian had a deep passion for all things with an engine and a soul. Whether it was his motorcycle, cars, or anything on wheels, he lived to ride, to build, and to make things run better. He could spend hours in the garage lost in his work, tinkering, troubleshooting, and bringing life back to what others thought was beyond repair. It wasn’t just a hobby; it was his escape, his therapy, and a part of who he was. The open road, the rumble of an engine, and the freedom of two wheels were where he felt most alive. Cristian didn’t just fix machines, he understood them, he respected them, and he poured his heart into every project.
Survivors include his parents, Kristin (Monteiro) Hagopian of Taunton and Richard Hagopian, Jr. of Wareham; his siblings, Ashley N. Hagopian of Indianapolis, IL and Serenity Hagopian of Taunton; his grandparents, Donna M. Hagopian-Barros of Palm Springs, CA, the late Richard Hagopian Sr. from Weymouth, Laura Monteiro of New Bedford and the late Robert Monteiro of New Bedford; his aunts, Siobhan Dowling of Wareham, Marissa Barros along with her husband Jamison of Somerset; his uncle Greg Hagopian along with his wife Ashley from Bridgewater; Also survived by his girlfriend, Nevaeh Coons, his niece Nova and many cousins. His brother, Richard J. “Tre” Hagopian, passed away in 2023.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
