Students find academic and personal success

Five Wareham High School students received scholarships in reward for their academic achievement, perseverance, leadership and deep community engagement—qualities that reflect the spirit and strength of the SouthCoast region.

Students awarded were Isaiah Bizzarro, Ava Brogioli, Hannah Milne, Amber Roberts and Patrick Tripp.

These scholarships are made possible by the SouthCoast Community Foundation, an organization that serves 41 communities across four counties and is the only community foundation dedicated solely to Southeastern Massachusetts.

Since its inception in 1995, the foundation has distributed over $63 million in grants and $5.6 million in scholarships. This year, 120 students were honored in a ceremony on Tuesday, May 27 and about $800,000 were given through scholarships.
