Take a Tuesday walk

Get out and touch some grass.

Volunteer with the Wareham Land Trust for a trail cleanup event Tuesday, April 21, at Follo-Beecher Woods, 8 Beaver Path from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon and focus on invasive plant removal and trash cleanup at the organization’s newly acquired property. Participants will meet at the southern portion of Beaver Path, near 8 Beaver Path.

Tools will be provided, though volunteers are welcome to bring their own equipment such as clippers or loppers. Attendees are encouraged to bring work gloves, water, sunscreen and bug spray, and to wear appropriate outdoor attire, including waterproof footwear.

The event is open to volunteers interested in land stewardship and outdoor work. Register at warehamlandtrust.org.
